Obituary of Janet May Kexel
JANET M. KEXEL, age 94, of Jefferson passed away Wednesday February 20, 2019 at Alden Estates in Jefferson. She was born on September 16, 1924 in Fort Atkinson daughter of the late Morris and Mildred (Heinz) Feller. She graduated from Fort Atkinson High School in 1942 and married Ralph Kexel on April 12, 1945 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Fort Atkinson, he preceded her in death on August 1, 1978. Janet work at Countryside Nursing home in Jefferson as a Nursing Assistant until her retirement. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends and was an avid Milwaukee Brewers fan. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic church in Jefferson.
She is survived by her family; Daughter Bonnie Loukota of Watertown, Son Roger (Mary) Kexel of Arizona, Daughter-in-law Donna Kexel of Jefferson. Sister Nancy (Bob) Francisco of Menomonee Falls and sister-in-law Cheryl Feller of Fort Atkinson, niece Carol (Bob) Kluender of Portage. 6 grandchildren; Barb Tway, John (Tara) Loukota, Tom (Amy) Loukota, Tim (Shelly) Kexel, Mike (Brenda) Kexel, Jason (Megan) Kexel. Great grandchildren; Ryan and Carter Kexel, Jaylah and Winslow Kexel, Anthony Tway, John Loukota Jr. and Mark and Elizabeth Yager, Brandon Loukota.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, son William “Bill” Kexel, grandson Jimmy Loukota, son-in-law Richard Loukota, brothers Bob Feller, John Feller, and sister Marion Edwards.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 noon on Thursday February 28, 2019 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Jefferson with the Rev. Thomas Coyle officiating, burial will follow in the Parish cemetery. Visitation will be at the church on Thursday from 10:00a.m. until the Mass at noon.
