Obituary of James Meredith Green

JAMES M. GREEN age 72 of Johnson Creek passed away at his home on Saturday August, 25, 2018.  He was born on November 8, 1945 in Ashland, Kentucky son of the late William and Della (Thompson) Green.  James served in the United States Army from December 3, 1963 to March 31, 1967. He married Susan Bass on November 7, 1970 at St. Paul’s Lutheran church in Fort Atkinson.  James worked as an Engineer in Manufacturing at several places including, Anderson Engineering, Butler in Fort Atkinson, Waukesha Engineering, Karma and Spuncast.

He enjoyed camping, fishing, spending time with his family especially his grand kids.  He loved wood working, playing cards, word puzzles and mowing his lawn.

James is survived by his family, wife Susan Green of Johnson Creek, sons William Green of Johnson Creek, Christopher Green of Jefferson, Benjamin Green of Brookfield.  Siblings Clyde Green of Jefferson, Larry Green of Jefferson, Teresa Green of Jefferson, Linda (Johnny) Cooper of KY, Susan (Kramer) Haney of Lake Mills, Cissy Haney of Jefferson.  Grandchildren

Maxwell Green, Madeline Green, Jackson Green, Olivia Green, Gabrielle Green.  He is preceded in death by siblings Dee Green, Robert Green, and sister E. Lea Green.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday August 30, 2018 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Jefferson with the Rev. Joshua Martin presiding.  Visitation will be at the church from 9:00-11:00 a.m.
